Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Broussard Reputation Group (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an owner-operated reputation management consultancy based at 775 East Pierce Street, Phoenix, Arizona 85006, USA. Our owner and data controller contact is James Brown. This policy explains what personal information we collect through reputation.claybroussard.com and in the course of providing our services, why we collect it, and what rights you have.
If you have any question about this policy, contact us at contact@reputation.claybroussard.com or +1 (702) 705-5589.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what we need:
- Information you give us. Name, business name, email address, telephone number, and the content of any message you send through our contact form, by email or by telephone.
- Client engagement information. For clients, the business details, platform access and reporting data necessary to deliver the agreed services.
- Technical information. Where you consent to analytics cookies, aggregated data about pages viewed, approximate region, referring source, device type and browser. This information is not used to identify you personally.
- Correspondence records. Copies of emails and notes of telephone calls relating to your enquiry or engagement.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and we do not collect special category data such as health, biometric or precise geolocation data.
3. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare a reputation audit you requested.
- To provide, administer and invoice the services agreed in your engagement letter.
- To maintain records required for accounting, tax and legal compliance.
- To improve this website, where you have consented to analytics cookies.
- To send occasional service updates to existing clients. You may opt out at any time.
We do not sell, rent, trade or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding twelve months.
4. Legal bases for processing
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases: consent (analytics cookies and marketing email), performance of a contract (delivery of agreed services), legitimate interests (responding to business enquiries, securing our website, and preventing fraud), and legal obligation (tax and accounting records).
5. Cookies and tracking
This website uses a small number of cookies. Strictly necessary cookies allow the site to function and to remember your cookie preference. Analytics cookies are loaded only after you select “Accept all” in our cookie banner. You can withdraw or change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link, or by clearing your browser storage. Full detail is set out in our Cookie Policy.
6. Sharing with service providers
We share personal information only with providers who help us operate, and only to the extent required. These currently include our website hosting provider, our business email provider, our accounting software provider, and our review-monitoring platform vendors. Each is bound by contract to process information solely on our instructions and to apply appropriate security measures. We may also disclose information where required by law, court order or a lawful request from a public authority.
7. International transfers
We are based in the United States and our primary systems are hosted in the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. Where required, we use Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent lawful transfer mechanism with our providers.
8. Data retention
Enquiries that do not become engagements are deleted within 24 months. Client records are retained for the duration of the engagement and for seven years afterwards to meet U.S. tax and professional record-keeping obligations. Analytics data is retained in aggregate for 14 months. Where we no longer need information, it is securely deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; request deletion; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; receive a portable copy of information you provided; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
Residents of California (CCPA/CPRA), Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may exercise these rights, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — although, as stated above, we do not sell or share personal information.
To make a request, email contact@reputation.claybroussard.com with the subject line “Privacy request”. We verify requests by confirming details already on file and respond within 45 days, or one month where the GDPR applies. You may use an authorised agent; we will ask for written proof of authorisation.
10. Security
We apply access controls, encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted storage for client credentials, multi-factor authentication on all business accounts, and a least-privilege policy limiting staff access to what each role requires. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we review these measures annually and after any material change to our systems.
11. Do Not Track and global privacy signals
This website does not respond differently to browser Do Not Track headers, because no common standard has been agreed. We do honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where our analytics provider supports it, treating it as a withdrawal of analytics consent.
12. Third-party links
Our pages link to review platforms, mapping services and other external sites. Once you follow such a link, that organisation's privacy policy applies. We are not responsible for the content or practices of external websites.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or the law. The revision date at the top of this page always shows when it was last changed. Material changes affecting existing clients are notified by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
